Eligibility & Access
Membership is open to organizations across the electronics manufacturing and design supply chain, including:
- Semiconductor suppliers, equipment and materials providers.
- Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and design houses.
- Academic institutions, non-profits, and related service providers.
Individuals cannot join directly, however, all individuals within a member company receive full access to SEMI benefits.
To join, your organization completes the SEMI membership application. Once approved and payment is received, you will be notified and given access to your member benefits.
All SEMI members can be found in our online Membership Directory. You can search by company name, technology, or service.
Each individual within a member organization can set up a semi.org account where they will receive access to member benefits.
To keep your SEMI benefits active without interruption, renewals must be completed on or before your membership expiration date.
The SEMI membership year runs from April 1 to March 31.
- First‑year members receive a full 12‑month term beginning on the date they join.
- Your first renewal will be prorated from your expiration date to align with the March 31 cycle.
- All subsequent renewals will follow the standard April 1–March 31 membership period.
Under U.S. tax code, membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions. However, 70% of your membership investment may be deducted as a business expense. The remaining 30% supports SEMI’s advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., and is not deductible.
