Will Hudson

Director of Energy & Sustainability Policy, APAC Corporate, External & Legal Affairs (CELA), Microsoft Singapore

Will leads Microsoft’s energy & sustainability policy work in Asia-Pacific. He is responsible for the design & execution of regional strategy for delivering Microsoft’s sustainability targets to 2030. His focus areas are supply chain decarbonization (Scope 3), enabling carbon-free electricity access for Microsoft’s datacenters and suppliers, and supporting rollout of “AI for energy” solutions in support of the global energy transition. Will sits in Microsoft’s global Energy, Connectivity & Sustainability team, based in Singapore. 

Prior to Microsoft, Will worked as a strategy consultant for over a decade, including for McKinsey & Company, where he helped launch their Southeast Asia sustainability practice in 2021, and for the Carbon Trust, where he launched their Singapore office in 2019. 

Will holds a Masters degree in Physics from Imperial College London, and a Masters Degree in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge.
