Zhenwen (Alex) Tu joined Chemours in 2016 and brings more than 20 years of expertise in regulatory affairs and chemical management. As the lead for product regulatory and sustainability initiatives in Greater China, and with oversight of regulatory affairs across the Asia Pacific region, Alex is recognized for a strategic approach to compliance, risk assessment, and sustainable development in highly regulated industries. His leadership has enabled Chemours to successfully navigate complex regulatory landscapes, supporting business growth while ensuring compliance and product safety.
Beyond his role at Chemours, Alex actively contributes to industry advancement as a committee member of the Management Toxicology and Risk Assessment Specialty Committee of the Chinese Society of Toxicology, the Product Regulatory and Regulatory Affairs Expert Committee of the China Fluorosilicone Organic Materials Industry Association, and the China Paint and Pigment Standardization Technical Committee. He has contributed to the formulation / revision of multiple national and industry standards in China and published numerous articles in professional journals. Alex is also a Chinese licensed senior engineer.
