Soyoung Jang is an industry decarbonization and energy transition leader with over 10 years of experience in carbon trading, renewable energy policy, and industry collaboration. She currently serves as Director, Energy Collaborative & Consortium at SEMI, where she drives global initiatives through the Semiconductor Climate Consortium (SCC) and Energy Collaborative (EC) to advance clean energy procurement and decarbonization across the semiconductor value chain. Soyoung has also held senior roles in Asia’s carbon advisory sector, leading capacity-building projects, renewable energy feasibility studies, Emissions Trading Scheme advisory, and carbon trading strategies. She brings deep expertise in building cross-sector partnerships with governments, industry, and research institutions to accelerate the clean energy transition in Asia’s most energy-intensive industries.
