Packaging in the Spotlight
Would it be technically and economically possible to manufacture FOWLP on rebuilt wafers, larger than the actual 200 and 300mm rebuilt wafers? Will the technology be developed on 330 or 350mm round rebuilt wafers or rather on rectangular panels by leveraging the PCB or display infrastructure? More generally, how will the supply chain look?
These questions and more will be at the heart of the SEMI Packaging Tech Seminar, scheduled to take place on June 18, 2015 in Vila do Conde, Portugal.
