Workshop on Reference Materials for Test Methods
Workshop on Reference Materials for Test Methods
SEMI PV Materials Standards Committee
Wednesday, September 26, 2012
9:00am-12:00pm
Messe Frankfurt, Germany
Hall 4C, room “Entente”
Co-chairs: Hubert Aulich (PV Crystalox) and Peter Wagner (Consultant)
Many test methods of SEMI Standards refer to reference materials for calibrating measurement equipment used in the PV industry. Unfortunately reference materials are not commercially available for many of these test methods, such as analytical test methods, test methods for geometrical dimensions or for electrical or optical parameters of Si wafers. In a recent workshop on test methods in Munich in conjunction with Intersolar Europe the urgent need for reference materials again was pointed out and it was suggested to discuss ways for improving or solving this situation in a workshop in conjunction with PVSEC 27 in Frankfurt/ Main, Germany, in September 2012.
All interested parties are invited to attend this workshop, which is free of charge, and to contribute their thoughts and ideas in an open discussion. Any presentations regarding the subject of the workshop are also welcome. Please let us know until August 31, an agenda will then be prepared.
As this workshop is free of charge, support by sponsors for covering expenses for room and refreshments would be highly welcome.
