Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Update
Lara Chamness, SEMI

While underlying unit shipments experienced increases during the first half of this year, economic uncertainty continues to hamper a strong recovery in the semiconductor equipment and materials markets. This presentation will discuss recent revenue trends and provide a forecast through 2013 for semiconductor equipment and materials.

Fab forecast of equipment spending and capacity: Where are we heading in 2012 and 2013?
Christian Gregor Dieseldorff, SEMI

At the beginning of this year, the World Fab Forecast report, predicted that the growth rate for equipment spending for Front End fabs would be flat (0%) with a record year for 2013. Growth of installed capacity growth was expected to be 7.5% this year and 5% in 2013. Since then, many companies have revised their plans. These days our industry is able to react quickly to macro-economic changes and market fluctuations. Using a bottom-up approach the World Fab Forecast captured these changes with over 200 updates. This Webinar will analyze trends and look into construction and equipment spending for Front End facilities worldwide and installed capacities until end of 2013.
