Survey Shows Strengths and Shortcomings
I would like to thank you for your input to the SEMI annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. SEMI Europe received 412 responses, an excellent response.
The results indicate that overall customer satisfaction has improved in Europe— 69% of members now give SEMI an “acceptable” and “above acceptable” rating compared to 63% last year. The SEMI Europe office works hard on improving performance. Indeed, the survey shows that satisfaction with SEMI Europe products, publications, events, and services has increased from last year— jumping from 54% to 68%.
The survey found that key priorities for Europe should include solving industry-wide problems (a theme addressed in the European SEMI White Paper) and providing industry information (including market data and forecasts), as well as conducting high level exhibitions and conferences.
The SEMI team in Europe will continue to use the survey to improve our service to provide better and faster services to its members and customers. Among them will be a more targeted “member services by industry segment” and more targeted member communications. We are also at work addressing photovoltaic issues (PV Group Fab Managers Forum in Dresden in March, Intersolar in Munich in May, Standards as well as global PV events). In addition, on 7 October 2008, SEMI will release a White Paper (Six Recommendations to the EU and National Governments) as an initiative to increase Europe’s competitiveness in microelectronics.
We listen to your feedback and try to continually improve on SEMI product quality and services. Your input is always important to us.
