About the SEMI Brussels Forum
The SEMI Brussels Forum gathers 200 political influencers, leaders and decision makers representing the various stakeholders from the semiconductor industry. Attendees represent over 20 countries including Russia, Israel and UAE.
The SEMI Brussels Forum is the annual EU public event to discuss about the competitiveness of the European semiconductor industry value-chain. Various stakeholders are invited on the panel to discuss on critical pre-defined themes.
The event is composed of private meetings of the industry with the European Commission on the first day and a plenary session on the second day.
- European Commission representatives directly working or indirectly affected by the themes of Competitiveness, Innovation, Technology and Energy.
- Members and staff of the European Parliament representing regions with critical semiconductor/photovoltaic activity.
- National Governments representatives and Permanent Representation offices of regions with critical semiconductor/photovoltaic activity

- Cluster representatives from the semiconductor and related technologies
- Industry and Regional association representatives
- R&D and Universities high-level representatives
- Industry, National and EU media including written press and television.
SEMI is a non-for-profit global industry association representing 2000 companies that supply equipment, materials and services for the manufacturing of semiconductors, photovoltaic, MEMS, displays and related technologies. SEMI supports 200 member companies in Europe, including a few world champions (ASML, Soitec, Siltronic...) but mostly SMEs representing 90% of its membership. SEMI members produce 9 billion EUR in Europe and employ directly 105.000 people, 500.000 indirect jobs.
