SEMI finances and membership continue to rebound from the industry crisis of 2008 and our member satisfaction ratings have never been higher. SEMI services and activities in all our business units continue to grow and we are well positioned for a solid year in 2012 despite some poor economic forecasts. SEMI reported to our Board of Directors that membership grew over 7 percent to 1,940 members in 2011, primarily due to strong member retention rates and continued growth in PV and emerging markets. Word spread quickly of his tragic accident, and many recounted their experiences with the charismatic leader of Micron Technology, the last U.S. DRAM maker. The decline can be attributed to: a widening surplus, a decline in LED prices for backlighting, and falling LED revenues for TVs. QD Vision Receives the SEMI Award for Quantum Dot Research Team members at QD Vision are the recipients of the 2011 SEMI Award for North America. The QD Vision team made significant progress on the integration and manufacturing processes essential to the commercialization of Quantum Dot (QD) technology.
