Dave Gross is Director, Manufacturing Technology at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Malta, New York. He has broad experience designing, planning, establishing emerging manufacturing automation and system innovation technology with implementations of leading edge manufacturing capability worldwide. In a career spanning more than 30 years in semiconductor manufacturing he has lead numerous Fab design startup teams in the US, Europe and Asia. His primary focus is leadership in development and automation of manufacturing system solutions, equipment controls and engineering management resulting in deployment of effective technologies for corporate manufacturing startups.
Prior to his current role at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Dave held various engineering and management positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Before joining AMD, Gross supported frontend and backend manufacturing operations for a research and development division of United Technologies, Essex Group Pittsburgh.
