Rod Morgan is Vice President of Procurement at Micron Technology. Mr. Morgan joined Micron in 1984 and has held numerous leadership roles in manufacturing operations, including Fab Manager, Manufacturing Integration Manager, Key Equipment Group Director, and Site Director.
Mr. Morgan most recently served as Executive Officer of IM Flash Technologies, LLC, responsible for co-leading the joint venture between Intel Corporation and Micron Technology, Inc. He has also played many critical roles in the company, including starting Micron’s highly efficient Mask Technology Center, leading the conversion from 6” to 8” wafers in 1995, leading the 300mm ramp at Micron’s facility in Manassas, Virginia, and integrating manufacturing operations following Micron’s acquisition of Texas Instrument’s memory business in 1998.
Mr. Morgan holds an Associates of Electronics Technology from ITT Technical Institute out of Boise, Idaho. Mr. Morgan holds patents in process and semiconductor equipment manufacturing technology. He has also served on various committees and panels for SEMI®.
