Brian Quirk, MKS Instruments - Biography

Brian C. Quirk, Vice President, Global Operations, MKS Instruments, Inc.

Brian Quirk is responsible for leading manufacturing, global supply chain, technical operations and logistics functions at MKS Instruments. He has over 25 years of operations experience ranging from early stage start-up's to multi-national, public corporations. He has had responsibility for several North American, European, and Asian manufacturing plants. Brian continues to drive MKS’ ability to scale and globalize manufacturing capacity, spearheading lean initiatives across operating sites, and as part of implementing a global operations and supply chain strategy.  Brian came to MKS from Brooks Automation, where he was responsible for the manufacturing and supply chain operations there. Prior to that Brian was the VP of Operations, Supply Chain and Quality for a several leading companies including Teradyne, GenRad, and Stratus Computer.  Brian’s skills feature in depth knowledge and experience in scaling operations through high growth phases, as well as running multi-factory global operations producing low, medium, and high volume products.  He earned a BS in business management from Bentley University, and an MBA from Suffolk University.
