Introducing SEMI Europe’s New Staff
Two new team members officially started working at SEMI Europe on 1 October: Ourania (Rania) Georgoutsakou is now responsible for Public Policy in Brussels and Christina Fritsch is the new coordinator of Programs and Events.
Rania has over ten years of experience in public policy and lobbying on the European level. As our new director of Public Policy, she will be responsible for making sure that the interests of SEMI members are considered at the EU and national governments level. Rania will oversee the EU regulations with regards to semiconductor, photovoltaic and related industries. In addition, she will manage public relations, communication, policy-related executive events (Brussels Forum, Executive Summit), and act as an assistant to the European Advisory Board.
Christina has 12 years of experience in organizing business conferences and meetings, managing committees, speakers and attendees. In her new role as Programs and Events coordinator at SEMI Europe, she will support the overall management of the European conferences, programs, sessions and meetings. She will also support the committee management and will act as their main point of contact.
