Relative Value and Business Model Alignment
Technology development can be viewed as the creation of new building blocks. End products that we as consumers use to enhance our daily lives are a collection of blocks. Some take many more blocks than others. Some have some very complicated blocks. The value of the outcome of a collaboration can then be defined by the fractional content of the end product that results from implementation. High level comparisons will be used to demonstrate potential disconnects between the incremental value of what might be learned from a collaboration and hypothetical business models.
