Dr. Jennifer K. Colegrove, Vice President of Emerging Display Technologies, DisplaySearch
Dr. Jennifer K. Colegrove is Vice President of Emerging Display Technologies at DisplaySearch. She is a major contributor to reports and consulting projects on display technologies, including 3D displays, touch screens, flexible displays, OLED displays, OLED lighting, e-paper displays and pocket projectors.
Jennifer has more than 15 years of industry experience. Before joining DisplaySearch, she served as a senior analyst at iSuppli, leading the emerging display technology services division. Prior to that, she performed due diligence for Intel Capital, the company’s venture capital arm, as a senior display engineer. Jennifer also reviewed display-related patent applications as a member of the Intel Mobile IP committee. She has worked in several start-up companies as senior engineer or project manager, including dpiX (a Xerox spin-off), Digilens, Silicon Bandwidth and Crystal Research.
With more than 70 publications, Jennifer’s articles have appeared in SID Journal, Information Display, IEEE Journal and Veritas et Visus, among others. She is frequently quoted by media and industry press, including Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, Bloomberg and Computerworld. Jennifer has been a featured speaker and session chairperson at a number of conferences, including the SID Business Conference, FPD International, OLEDs World Summit, OLED Lighting Summit, LOPE-C, Flexible Electronics & Displays Conference, Interactive Displays Conference and Printed Electronics Conference. She has five patent applications, with one US patent granted.
Jennifer has a Ph.D. from liquid crystal Institute at Kent State University in Ohio. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees with honors from Beijing University in Beijing, China.
