Welcome to the home page for SEMI Members and their customers in Pacific Northwest Region, and the SEMI Pacific Northwest Committee. This Committee is a great way to keep connected with what is going on in the industry and a great opportunity to network with industry leaders. If you are interested in joining the SEMI Pacific Northwest Chapter, please contact Lin Tso at email@example.com and/or 408-943-7920.
SEMI is ready to support our members locally by resuming our industry programs in the Pacific Northwest region. Our vision for the region is not only to provide periodic events but also to create a community platform for members, customers, local research organizations, universities, workforce development groups, and economic development resources to connect and prosper.
Pacific Northwest Chapter Purpose and Statement
Pacific Northwest Steering Committee
The SEMI Pacific Northwest Chapter seeks to become one of the most energetic and effective and chapters in the US. The Chapter’s overriding goal is to identify, prioritize, and help solve challenges impacting SEMI members around the following key themes:
The Chapter has an active executive leadership comprised of volunteers from commercial, academia, and other member companies employing high-tech workers in the Pacific Northwest US.
The SEMI Pacific Northwest Chapter also provides the SEMI regional membership and microelectronics professionals a forum to gain sales and marketing information, technology updates and forecast/market analyses. The Chapter's overriding goal is to facilitate collaboration, networking, professional growth and economic development across the microelectronics supply chain. In 2012, the Chapter created the first SEMI Professional Development Seminar (PDS), a program connecting college students to the Microelectronics Industry.
The Steering Committee guides a variety of activities geared to achieving their charter goal, including the organization of forums for technical and market presentations and peer networking for regional SEMI members and the technology community. The Committee identifies success metrics for all activities and regularly communicates successes to stakeholders.
