SOLARCON China: China’s Premier PV Manufacturing Technology Platform

CPTIC 2012, the flagship conference program of SOLARCON China, has extended the Abstracts and Biography Deadline to November 30 

SOLARCON China is on track to be China’s premier photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing technology platform. Over 50 world-class PV technologists are already confirmed as speakers for SOLARCON China 2012 which takes place on March 20-22 in Shanghai. Leading PV companies— including GCL, LDK, MEMC, Applied Materials, Centrotherm, Despatch, GT Solar, RENA, Astronergy, Suntech, Trina— are signed up to participate.

China PV Technology International Conference (CPTIC) 2012, the flagship conference program of SOLARCON China, has extended its Abstracts and Biography deadline to November 30. CPTIC is scheduled for 21–22 March under the umbrella of SOLARCON China 2012. Abstracts for this major international conference are being sought now for presentations at the event and for publishing in the proceedings.

The mission of CPTIC 2012 is to promote technical and business exchange on all PV  industry including but not limited to, market, policy, power grid, technical roadmap, device, design, process, tooling, materials, and fundamental study between China and the rest of the world with a focus on industrial applications. CPTIC encourages IP enforcement in China. It also provides opportunities for parties who are interested in investing and collaboration in the PV industry in Asia, particularly in China.

Six symposiums of CPTIC 2012 will cover all the aspects of photovoltaic technology and manufacturing, business and policies. Symposiums include:

  • Green Energy, Power Grid, Policy and Market
  • Silicon Materials Manufacturing
  • Crystalization and Wafer Processing
  • Solar Cell and Module Engineering
  • Thin Film Technology and Reliability
  • Emerging Technologies for Solar
