Semiconductor Outlook: When will the Upturn Start?

The Semiconductor industry was on a path to break $300 billion U.S. dollars in 2011 only to stagnate this summer as worries of excess inventories and lackluster demand plagued manufacturers.
Tony Massimini, Chief of Technology of Semico Research, will present the Semico market outlook addressing key issues that are affecting the strenght and direction of the semiconductor sales. Semico's Inflection Point Indicator (IPI) continues to be the best predictor of shifts in the direction of the semiconductor market.
Mr. Massimini will present analysis on the end use application that are major driving forces. This will include innovative technologies , such as MEMS, SoCs and others, that are enabling this growth.
