Maximize PR Through SEMI-MSIG
SEMI-MSIG maintains a PR Partner Program for our members with many ways to supplement your own marketing efforts. Take advantage of one or more of these great benefits:
Write for the SEMI Blog - with MEMS & sensors keywords
Want to increase your visibility among fellow members and drive traffic to your content via Google News Alerts as well? Contribute to SEMI's Technology blog and get great industry exposure. Review our guest blogger guidelines below and submit a ready-made blog post or, if you just have an idea, a short abstract to us describing the focus of your post. We will review your abstract and get back to you with comments/questions.
We publish an annual editorial calendar to help guide you in choosing a topic and target month.
Please note that all content contributed to the SEMI Blog must be original and cannot have appeared previously in another online outlet unless written permission for republishing has been granted; if this is the case, prospective contributors must forward a copy of this documentation to SEMI-MSIG PR.
Guest Blogger Guidelines
Blog posts should be 400-800 words in length. Topical in nature—rather than product-focused—they should interest MEMS/sensors suppliers, OEM end-users, ODMs and/or embedded systems integrators. Visit the SEMI-MSIG Editorial Calendar for specific topics. If you don't see anything that resonates, don't worry! We are open to your ideas. Here are additional topics to consider:
- Internet of Things or wireless sensor networks
- Sensor fusion or MEMS sensors
- Smart home
- Advanced materials
- MEMS and sensors manufacturing or processing
- MEMS and sensors in automotive
- MEMS and sensors in consumer electronics, energy, or industrial
- MEMS and sensors in mobile & wireless or communications infrastructure
In addition to your amazing and educational content, your blog may include an application or technology photo as a 300 dpi jpeg or a short video clip
An important part of SEMI-MSIG’s role in championing MEMS/sensors is to engage with technology editors in the US, Europe and Asia about contributed article opportunities. In some cases, editors ask us for expert spokespeople who can discuss some facet of MEMS/sensors, from devices and materials to end products or MEMS-enabled applications. In others, editors are looking for a polished contributed article on a specific topic, such as sensor fusion, giving us the opportunity to include member companies in articles that we byline. In both cases, SEMI-MSIG needs to know what you would like to discuss with the press so we may refer these editors directly to you or include you in an article.
SEMI-MSIG offers speaking opportunities for our hosted conference tracks at industry events such as MEMS Executive Congress and MEMS Technical Congress and SEMICON West. All member companies automatically receive a “Call for Submissions” from SEMI-MSIG for these and other events. Speakers are later chosen via a competitive application process.
SEMI-MSIG is always interested in MEMS and sensors images for our use and for use by other editors and industry publications. Always for attribution to your company, submit images from MEMS/sensors devices, software and equipment to foundries, advanced materials and MEMS-based applications, and we will use it in our Image Gallery.
Submit Your Images: To add your content, upload a 300 dpi jpeg and include one-sentence description, telling us and other members more about your image. Email the image to Heidi Hoffman, Sr. Director of Segment Marketing.
