Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) is a one-stop-shop, providing comprehensive economic development services to companies looking to relocate to our area. The GCEDC is the developer of the WNY STAMP site WNY STAMP is New York's next generation mega site (1,250 acres) located in Genesee County and will accommodate nanotechnology companies including semiconductor 450mm chip fab, flat panel display, photovoltaic manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing. The project is in the ninth year of development and to date the GCEDC has completed a feasibility study, environmental review (SEQRA), and re-zoning of the site. The STAMP site has been validated as a regional priority project by the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council, is supported by regional business and labor organizations, and by the regional colleges and universities.
