The International Technology Roadmap for Photovoltaic (ITRPV), a SEMI initiative,  is created and regularly updated by the globally leading manufacturers of crystalline silicon (c-Si) products (wafer, cell, module). The objective of the ITPRV is to ensure constant cost reduction and efficiency increase through technology advancements in the performance of c-Si products.  Learn more at www.itrpv.net

SEMI INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR PV MANUFACTURING

 SEMI Standards

SEMI is the recognized leader in manufacturing standards—standards created by the industry, for the industry, to make PV a reality throughout the world. Industry supports the standards development process because it provides a forum for free exchange of technical expertise and is protected by anti-trust regulations. Companies that participate actively in standards work have a head start on their competitors in adapting to market demands and new technologies. In addition, a recent study has shown that research risks and development costs are reduced for companies contributing to the standardization process.

The SEMI Standards Photovoltaics Volume now includes over 50 PV manufacturing standards for equipment communications to materials and automation to wafers.
