Primary activities include conferences and trade shows, international standards development, public policy, market research, workforce development, environmental, health and safety (EHS) other industry advocacy.
SEMI Americas has offices in Washington, D.C. and San Jose, California and regional Chapters serving members locally in the U.S.
SEMI China serves more than 50,000 local people from Semiconductor, Flat Panel Display and PV industries and continuously advances the growth and prosperity of SEMI members and these industries in China through diversified products and services. Over the past two decades, SEMI members has paralleled China’s explosive development and enjoyed the enormous growing opportunity in China. SEMI China has offices in both Shanghai and Beijing.
SEMI Europe, with the help of its international staff, supports its 244 European members in over 21 countries across a diversified scope of activities. They include exhibitions and conferences, standards, member advocacy and industry government relations. Over 60 events/meetings are organized annually by SEMI Europe, engaging with over 14.000 industry professionals. 135 industry executives are involved in 11 committees. The SEMI Europe Newsletter is the primary communication tool, with a monthly distribution to 13.500 readers.
SEMI India’s office is located in Bangalore and supports member interest in India's burgeoning microelectronic and PV manufacturing supply chains.
In February 1985, SEMI opened a permanent office in Tokyo. Representing the diverse views of its membership on the global stage, SEMI Japan focuses on promoting exchange among professionals, experts and manufacturers from all over the world.
SEMI Korea office is located at Seoul, Korea.
SEMI Moscow office was established in 1992 to facilitate mutual business interests between SEMI member companies and the semiconductor industry in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
SEMI Southeast Asia
SEMI Singapore/Southeast Asia was established in 1993 in the same year the SEMICON venue was hosted in Singapore.
The SEMI Taiwan officially opened its office in Hsinchu in January 1996 to serve its memberships local and subsidiary offices.
