Tom Morrow
Executive Vice President Global Emerging Markets and Chief Marketing Officer

Tom Morrow is responsible for managing SEMI’s global activities in emerging and adjacent semiconductor markets, including large area printed electronics, LEDs, flat panel displays, and MEMS. As Chief Marketing Officer, he is also responsible for global expositions, marketing, and communications at SEMI.

The goal of the Emerging Markets Business Unit is to serve existing SEMI member interests in emerging and adjacent markets that utilize semiconductor processing technology or core competencies, tools and comparable material sets of existing SEMI members. Priority markets for the Business Unit are LEDs, MEMS, energy, and printed/flexible electronics where SEMI members are currently active, enabling the development of massive new markets for applications, equipment and materials.

Prior to joining SEMI, Tom was senior vice president at e21, a full service marketing consultancy whose clients included Intel, Philips, IBM, TSMC, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Lam Research, and other high technology leaders. Tom also helped found memory products company Lexar Media that went public in 2001 and eventually purchased Micron.

Tom has also held executive positions at Motorola, serving as Director Marketing for Asia and as Worldwide Director of Marketing. Earlier in his career, Tom served as Assistant Division Manager, Factory Automation, at Omron Electronics, a world leader in factory automation and control products.

Tom has an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a MA degree in Public Administration from University of Illinois. Tom received his BA degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University.
