CALL FOR PAPERS FOR SEMI TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM (STS) TO BE HELD AT SEMICON JAPAN 2008

Abstracts Deadline: 23 June, 2008; STS to be held 3-5 December 2008 in Japan

TOKYO, Japan – May 2 2008 – Abstracts for paper presentations are now being accepted for the 27th SEMI Technology Symposium (STS), which will be held 3-5 December at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan in conjunction with SEMICON Japan 2008. The submission deadline is 23 June 2008.


STS is a highly successful annual event, and in 2007, the symposium featured 110 technical lectures, and attracted over 2,491 attendees.

Presentations on original, non-commercial and non-published works are being solicited in the following areas: multilevel interconnection, etching, lithography, mask, manufacturing science, advanced device, testing, packaging, micorosystem/MEMS.

Submissions are welcome from all persons directly or indirectly involved in the semiconductor industry, including IC manufacturers, academic and research institutes, equipment manufacturers and materials suppliers.

Abstracts of approximately 250 words and a 100-word speaker biography are due 23 June 2008 by e-mail, and must be printed on company letterhead. Abstracts must clearly detail the nature, scope, content, organization, key points and significance of the proposed paper.
