SEMI OPENS NOMINATIONS FOR 2006 BOB GRAHAM AWARD

Annual Award Recognizes Outstanding Contributions in Marketing and Sales

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 8, 2005 -- Nominations are being accepted for the 2006 Bob Graham Award, bestowed annually by SEMI for outstanding contributions to marketing and sales within the semiconductor, equipment, materials and related industries. The recipient of the award will be announced at the Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) in Half Moon Bay, California, January 8-11, 2006.

First presented in 2000, the Bob Graham Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to customers through the creation and/or implementation of marketing programs that enhance customer satisfaction and further the growth of the semiconductor equipment and materials industry. The award is named in honor of the late Bob Graham, who played an instrumental role in the growth of some of the industry's biggest companies, including Applied Materials and Novellus Systems.

Nominations are due October 1, 2005. Recipients of the Bob Graham Award are selected from eligible candidates by an awards committee that includes past Bob Graham Award winners.
