Berlin, Germany -- The second wave of strong photovoltaic (PV) demand is imminent, and PV manufacturers are getting ready to face their challenges head on. That’s why leading PV manufacturers will attend the PV Fab Managers Forum in Berlin, Germany from March 7-9. Hosted by the Fab Managers Group and the SEMI PV Group, the Fab Managers Forum focuses on improving customer-supplier relations across the entire PV supply chain. The forum is unique because attendees will break into technical manufacturing workgroups to address specific challenging issues including: crystalline cell technology, thin-film technology, module manufacturing, and PV standardization.
Fab managers and equipment suppliers alike seek solutions to PV manufacturing issues like the critical drivers to initiate long-term PV growth and the common denominator for PV in terms of a long-term roadmap comparable to Moore’s law. The forum offers attendees the opportunity to address key issues, with input from the Fab Managers Group, which includes: Solarworld, Bosch Solar, Q-Cells, Schott Solar, Solarwatt, Solland, Sovello and Sunways. Attendees can also visit the Adlershof Science and Technology Park with tours of Solon, Sulfurcell and the Helmholtz Institute.
WHO WILL ATTEND: Fab managers, equipment suppliers, executives and business leaders from the PV industry, lead engineers from module manufacturers, as well as anyone in the PV supply chain.
WHO WILL PRESENT:
- Bernhard Dimmler, CTO, Würth
- Stephan Hansen, managing director , First Solar GmbH
- Robert Hartung, CEO, Centrotherm
- Patrick Hofer-Noser, CEO, 3S
