2008 Year-End Equipment Forecast Report Published!

The ten-page SEMI 2008 Year-End Semiconductor Equipment Forecast Report, published twice a year (July and December), was recently release to all of our
Equipment Market Data Subscription (EMDS) subscribers.

This report provides an analysis of the current trends as well as the forecast for the equipment market for the next two years.  The report also includes a spreadsheet detailing the activities for each of the seven regions.

SEMI has conducted its 2008 year-end semiconductor equipment forecast based on its fab database and inputs from key Worldwide Semiconductor Equipment Market (WWSEMS) participants. Data was collected and analyzed in November 2008, with the results summarized in this report. These findings pertain to the new semiconductor equipment market only.

Monthly global bookings and billings for North American-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers, including front-end and final manufacturing equipment. The Book-to-Bill is delivered three weeks after the close of each month.

World Semiconductor Equipment Market Statistics (SEMS) Report

A monthly report that offers global equipment bookings and billings for each market region (North America, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe, China and Rest of the World) and 22 market segments. This report is delivered six weeks after the close of each month.
