SEMI Forms PV Public Policy Working Group
Working in solar and interested in getting involved in Washington? SEMI recently created a new working group to address public policy issues related to solar energy in the United States. The PV Public Policy Working Group consists of SEMI member companies located in North America with a stake in solar energy.
Working group members will provide input to SEMI and assist in lobbying efforts. During the kick-off meeting, the working group stressed the need for the solar energy ITC to be extended and agreed that this would be the top priority. Now that this has been achieved, the working group will focus on other solar energy related public policy issues.
This is a voluntary group for representatives from SEMI member companies involved in solar energy in the United States. Please contact Ken Schramko at email@example.com for more information.
This group complements a range of SEMI efforts related to photovoltaics. For more information on other PV activities, please check out the SEMI special interest group dedicated to serving the PV manufacturing supply chain at www.pvgroup.org.
