The effort is worth pursuing and there is good interest among the companies to pursue and adopt the STDF standard. The Scan portion of the standard has been completed. A tool has been developed for validating tools supporting the new standard and is currently being deployed at many companies.

The group is currently working on developing a Memory Fail datalog standard.

Scan Datalog: To promote the deployment, group will seek pilot runs among customers and to develop standard APIs to help develop new tools based on the new standard.

Memory Fail Datalog: The group is currently working on putting out a draft that will go for ballot by June 30th and the standard to be completed by ITC'09.

The memory fail datalog meets every week from 10.00-11.00AM PT using Audio conference. There is also a plan to have face to face meeting for the group at Semicon West and ITC later this year.
