Gil McInnes Chief Information Officer Gil McInnes joined SEMI in 2003 as chief information officer. McInnes is responsible for providing Information Technology applications development, IT operations support services, and facilitating business process improvements across all SEMI products and services with an emphasis on Web technology. Prior to joining SEMI, McInnes held the position of vice president information technology and CIO at KLA-Tencor for seven years. He led the Information Technology group through several major IT application and infrastructure upgrades to support KLA-Tencor revenue growth from $220M to $2B including the KLA-Tencor merger. Prior to joining KLA-Tencor, he was the information technology director for Fujitsu Computer Products of America, a storage and imaging distribution subsidiary. Before that, McInnes held senior application development management positions at Tandem Computers, FMC Defense Systems Group, and at Massey Ferguson in Des Moines, Iowa and Toronto, Canada. He started his career with Procter and Gamble at the corporate headquarters in Cincinnati. McInnes earned a B.S. with an emphasis in Computer Science and Quantitative Business Analysis and an MBA in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University
