Mark Ding President, SEMI China As president of SEMI China, Mark Ding oversees the operations and relationships with its members as well as industry, government and academia in China. SEMI China offers products and services such as SEMICON, FPD trade shows, industry statistics and research, standards, magazine, and government relationship. Prior to joining SEMI, Ding served as the director of China Business Development for Credence Systems Corporation. Before that he held various management positions at Flashcomm/Silvaco International, Inc. and a sales engineer at Deutsch Research Inc., Mountain View, California. During his years in the Silicon Valley, Ding was a member of the board of directors of the Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association (CASPA), an organization dedicated to professional development, industry information and networking. Ding graduated from Peking University with a bachelors degree in Physical Chemistry; holds a master of science in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine; and an MBA from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
