From the Director's Desk
Come Join Us at SEMICON® West 2007!
We at SEMI® are working feverishly to offer you the biggest gig of the summer. SEMICON West 2007 in San Francisco (July 16-20, 2007) will be the venue for you to experience "everything Standards". Over 100 task force and committee meetings, Standards workshops and education programs are scheduled will make for a full week. We'll feature everything from wafer geometry, to the latest developments in EH&S, new software solutions and much more.
For the first time, we are welcoming IEC TC113 Nanotechnology, who will host a working group meeting immediately following the show and with whom we seek to partner in nano standardization. Photovoltaics is another buzz word you will hear in the hallway. Standards volunteers are preparing a petition for the International Standards Committee to approve the formation of a global photovoltaic Standards committee in their July 19 business meeting. The Advisory Board of the Manufacturing Technology Forum (MTF) will convene on July 20 to continue discussions on the latest Standards initiatives and their impact on 300mm Prime. The list goes on…
Check out the Standards meeting schedule and come visit us at the SEMI Standards information desk located in the San Francisco Marriott hotel, just a few minutes walk from the Moscone Convention Center in beautiful San Francisco. We look forward to seeing you there!
