SEMI to Submit Comments to SEC and PCAOB on SOX Guidance SEMI is working on comments to submit to the SEC and the PCAOB on the recently proposed changes to Section 404 guidance for the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the corresponding auditing standard. Korea FPD Working Group Receives Full Technical Committee Status In recognition of their accomplishments, the Korea Flat Panel Display (FPD) Working Group has been granted full Local Technical Committee status and now joins Committees in Japan and North American and Working Groups in China and Taiwan in support of the display industry. Expanding Sponsor Base Energizes SEMI Foundation's 2007 High Tech U Program Outreach This year a growing number of new High Tech U sponsors have signed on to help expand the program in the U.S., Japan and Europe, ensuring that the SEMI Foundation's High Tech U program will reach more students in 2007 than in any previous year. |
