Mr. Chen is a distinguished 40 years high tech veteran, having held leadership positions in several technology companies.

40 years ago, Mr. Chen entered into Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology for optical technology development as a first job, during this period which was almost 10.5 years, Mr. Chen learned a lot of knowledge of optical technology and realized that what he learned was the filed that he had ambition to concentrate on it.

Filling with this ambition, Mr. Chen established HoKuang Optics Co., Ltd in 1980 which started from a family factory. Now, HoKuang have subsidiary company in GuangDong and SuZhou of China which owns 600 employers and provide many variety lenses to the customers who around the world.

In 1996, Mr. Chen founded Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co, Ltd.; a leading III/V compound semiconductor epi house with MOCVD technology. Mr. Chen is currently serving as president of VPEC and plays a significant role in fund raising and business administration. His passion, vision, and leadership over the past 15 years have made VPEC the most profitable, reliable MOCVD technology on the market today.

Mr. Chen is also a chairman at Strong Way United Co., Ltd which is a professional manufacturer of high quality commercial / public space and lobby equipment and accessories.

However, Mr. Chen not only committed to the enhancement of the optical lens & MOCVD technology, he also affords the employers suitable working environment and good welfare system to achieve he’s social responsibility to the society.
