TOM HO
President and General Manager
BISTel America

Mr. Tom Ho is President of BISTel America.  Founded in 2000, BISTel is a leading provider of Cloud, and on-premise, IoT enabled, A.I. manufacturing intelligence applications that create actionable insights throughout the fab. For ten years, Ho has spearheaded research and development activities for BISTel America, helping to establish it as an industry leader in the U.S., China, and Japan as well as throughout the European Union and Southeast Asia.  Ho led engineering teams to help customers achieve continuous improvements in wafer and product quality while also driving down manufacturing costs.  Prior to serving as President of BISTel America, Tom held senior leadership positions at AMD, HPL and MKS Instruments.

For the past four years, Mr. Ho has served as a company and Industry 4.0 champion committed to creating the fab of the future through the acceleration of IoT enabled, A.I. powered smart manufacturing applications. For Ho, A.I. is pivotal to achieving the fab of the future.  It is a vision and a journey that starts with developing smarter applications, smarter engineering systems and smart enterprise wide systems with fully connected processes, large data exchange and optimized automation.

Achieving Industry 4.0 will require continued investment in many new IoT, cloud, edge computing platforms as well as new A.I. smart applications that help solve business and manufacturing problems better and quicker than ever before.  At the core of this strategic vision is a new, innovative Decision Support System (DSS) technology to be previewed at ITPC and release commercially in the near future.  DSS uses A.I to build a powerful knowledge-based system that enables the fully autonomous fab of the future.
