Strong Market Demand
China, as the manufacturing base of consumer electronic products, is taking advantages of the old generation fab lines worldwide, which can well meet the actual needs of China semiconductor industry and help it achieve cost-effective development. Impacted by the global financial crisis, there are about 50 fab lines came off production around the world and the majority of them are likely to be relocated to China.
The unparalleled Chinese government driving force is one of the reasons for China semiconductor’s continuing growth. There were over 40 government delegations attended SEMICON China 2010 from various regions and expect more at SEMICON China 2011. These government delegations treasuring a strong will of a long-term and sustainable development of China's semiconductor industry, all have the strong desire to build China IC manufacturing infrastructure.

Growing Market Demand for LEDs
Forecast project the global LED market will grow to around US$14 billion in 2013 as countries around the world, including China, Japan, and the United States, invest in energy-efficient lighting technologies. Increasingly used in lighting applications for flat panel display (FPD) televisions and as a replacement for incandescent and fluorescent lighting, LEDs promise to significantly reduce energy consumption and contribute to efforts combating global climate change. In China, the recently launched "Ten Cities, Ten Thousand Lights Project" aims to utilize LED technology as a replacement for street lamps, highway lighting, subway stations, and commercial installations, boosting China's market demand for LEDs and LED manufacturing technology.
